On living
We live among others in this world, and before we know it, a lifetime has passed. Some hold grand ambitions close, pouring their hearts into conversation with kindred souls within four walls. Others cast their spirit into the wild — living freely, unbounded by form or convention.
On impermanence
Though each person's choices differ vastly, and temperaments range from still to restless — when we delight in what we encounter, we feel content, never sensing that old age draws near. Yet when weariness sets in, and feeling shifts with circumstance, a deep longing rises. The joys of yesterday become fading traces in the blink of an eye. How much more so when the length of our days is ordained by fate, and all things must reach their end.
